The Founder

I have been involved in the computer industry since 1987. Starting out as a salesperson for a local IBM Partner, I saw firsthand how a customer would purchase a system but subsequently would not have ongoing support to make the system work.

In 1994, I started Doehring IT-Consulting in Hannover, Germany, focusing on small and midsize businesses owners with a solutions-oriented approach. My business model was based on continuing to support the customer after they had purchased a system from me. This approach quickly turned my business from being sales-oriented into support-oriented.

Becoming an accreditation as a System Designer and SAP-Consultant by the ACS, Australian Computer Society, in 2005 was a big step.
